On April 22, 2022, in the hall of the Confucius Institute at the Mining and Metallurgical Institute of Tajikistan, at the initiative of the Tajik-Chinese Mining and Industrial Company, the opening ceremony of a refresher course for students was held, as well as the signing of a trilateral agreement on training competitive Chinese and Chinese-speaking companies, the Lanzhou Professional Institute of Resources and the Environment environment and students, this was reported by the director of the Tajik side Valieva Mastura.
Under this agreement, students study Chinese at the Confucius Institute at the Mining and Metallurgical Institute of Tajikistan for one year, and then for a year they are sent to the Vocational and Technical Institute of Resources and the Environment in Lanzhou.
Upon completion of the professional training course, students will be employed by the Company.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, the General Director of the Tajik-Chinese Mining Company, a representative of the Mastchinsky district, representatives of the city of Istiklol, media representatives, the leadership of the Tajik Mining and Metallurgical Institute, employees of the Confucius Institute at the Tajik Mining -Metallurgical Institute, Lanzhou Professional Institute of Resources and Environment of the People’s Republic of China spoke (online).
It should be noted that the Republic of Tajikistan has adopted accelerated industrialization as the fourth strategic goal of the country, and this measure is aimed at implementing and providing the Republic of Tajikistan with qualified specialists in the labor market from among local workers. This initiative will be further implemented at the Confucius Institute at the Mining and Metallurgical Institute of Tajikistan.
