Detailed report on the visit of Professor A.A. Umarjonov and Mukhammadiev A. to Tashkent and the conclusion of agreements with universities

According to the letter sent by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan № 08 (54) 02-616 dated 10.09.2021. on the implementation of paragraphs 7.1.1. and 7.1.2. An action plan to implement the provisions of the minutes of the 8th meeting of the Tajik-Uzbek Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation To develop measures, the Institute has developed an action plan.

On this basis, for the implementation of the above items of the action plan to strengthen cooperation in science and culture, increase the effectiveness of educational, methodological and research work with the relevant universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 09.11.2021 to 12.11.2021. Vice-Rector for Science, Innovation and International Relations Umarjonov AA and the head of the international relations department Muhamadiev AN visited the city of Tashkent in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Dates 09-11-2021. 12-11-2021. The above-mentioned staff visited the Muhammad Al-Khorazmi Tashkent University of Information Technology (TUIT). It should be noted that the University and its regional branches have 13 faculties, 62 departments, and training is conducted in 23 areas, including 9 new bachelor’s and 10 new master’s specialties.

The university and its regional branches have 10,242 students, of which 9,858 are undergraduates and 384 are masters.

On the 09.11.2021 the meeting was held with the Rector of the University Mahkamov Bakhtiyor Shuhratovich, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Toshev Komil Akhmatovich, Dean of the Joint Faculty of the Belarusian State University of Information and Radio Electronics and Tashkent University of Information Technologies Sirelchuk Igor Nikolaevich to discuss cooperation in research artificial intelligence at the Mining and Metallurgical Institute of Tajikistan. The Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad Al-Khorazmihas established a joint faculty with the Belarusian State University of Information and Radio Electronics in the field of artificial intelligence, where students study for 2 years in Uzbekistan and 2 years in Belarus. ”And upon graduation they will be awarded 2 diplomas. During the meeting it was proposed to expand cooperation between the three sides, to study for 2 years at the Tashkent State University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad Al-Khorazmiand 1 year at the Belarusian State University of Information and Radio Electronics.

On 10.11.2021. They visited the laboratories of the university and talked with staff and students of the robotics park. Then they visited the Department of Artificial Intelligence Technology and met with the head of the department, Professor Zayniddinov Hakimjon Nasriddinovich. It was advised and decided to send representatives for training by the Tajik Mining and Metallurgical Institute to establish a department of artificial intelligence. At the end of the day, an agreement on cooperation in educational, scientific, technical and innovation activities, ensuring the development of a partnership system between the Tajik Mining and Metallurgical Institute and the Muhammad Al-KhorazmiTashkent University of Information Technology was signed, which includes the following areas:

1.1. Carrying out fundamental and practical research work, implementation of joint projects on the basis of research centers and laboratories;

1.2. Implementation of joint educational programs of vocational education, training of highly qualified personnel, as well as training, retraining and (or) professional development of research and teaching staff;

1.3. Application of research and practical and intelligence experience in the field of exact sciences, natural sciences, engineering, social sciences and humanities, as well as interdisciplinary research and development;

1.4. Creating conditions for the exchange of ideas, information and technology, as well as the organization of joint research and development within the agreed priority areas.

On dates  11-12.11.2021. He visited the Polytechnic University of Turin (Italy) in Tashkent. This university is one of the most popular in Central Asia and is committed to the implementation of measures aimed at training highly qualified specialists in the following areas: Mechanical engineering; Information Engineering and Programming in Industry (Computer engineering); Automotive engineering; Focused on Mechatronic Engineering, it was founded in 2009.

 

          He met with representatives of the University of Turin and talked about cooperation. It should be noted that the university trains specialists in the field of mechanical engineering, industrial mining and programming in the field of engineering, which are available in the TMMI. In this context, negotiations were held for cooperation in the above areas.

  He also got acquainted with the work of the university and visited laboratories, libraries and classrooms.

      They will talk to the library director and cooperate in the exchange of educational materials with the electronic library of the TMMI.
