Opening the meeting, the rector of the institute, Professor Bakhtiyor Mahmadali said that at the initiative of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, 2022-2026 was declared the “Years of Industrial Development”. in the country. We want to make a valuable contribution. He added that this year, in the light of the creative policy of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, a number of improvement works have been completed at the institute, including the Registration and Testing Center, hostel No. 3, a tennis court with the participation of the Minister education and science of the Republic of Tajikistan put into operation.
Also this year, a new faculty of economics of industry and a department of management with new specialties were created at the institute.
It was noted that this year the quality of education at the institute has improved and the number of students has increased. Cooperation agreements have been concluded with more than 72 industrial enterprises, where students conduct practical classes.
At the same time, graduates are sent to these industrial enterprises in accordance with the concluded agreement, that is, the institute seeks to provide all graduates with jobs.
At present, an agreement has been signed with the enterprise JV Zarafshon LLC to provide jobs for 5,000 specialists from among the graduates of the Mining and Metallurgical Institute of Tajikistan.
Also in 2021, more than 250 seminars, symposia, forums and conferences of international and national level were held at the institute.
This year, the teacher of the Institute Saidov Asomiddin took part in the competition of young scientists of the Commonwealth of Independent States and took first place in the institute. Rakhimov Khayetkul and Kadyrov Abdurashid took second and second places respectively in the Ilm-Furugi marifat competition.
At the same time, during this reporting period, 5 candidates defended dissertations in economic and technical areas, and this year an increase in the number of young scientists is expected, said the rector of the institute, Professor Bakhtiyor Mahmadali.
During the press conference, it was also noted that the Institute has a Mining College named after. S. Yusupova, Confucius Institute and CDIO Academy, which make a significant contribution to the development of science and education.
Recall that this year, on the initiative of the chairman of the trade union of the institute, Davlatov Davlatmahmad, boarding school No. 40 in Kanibadam was repeatedly provided with charitable assistance.
